Jessica Lindahl, DVM
Veterinarian, Chief of Staff
Dr. Lindahl grew up near Howell, Michigan. She has special
interests in dermatology, internal medicine, and low-stress animal
handling. While growing up, Dr. Lindahl was actively involved in
Livingston County 4-H and the Hartland High School Equestrian
Team, and participated in many community service activities, as
well as shows with her horse and dog. She began her first
veterinary-related job as an assistant at a mixed-animal practice
in 2003, and she has been hooked on the veterinary profession
ever since!
She exercised her Spartan Pride while spending a number of
years at Michigan State University for her undergraduate and
graduate professional studies. During this time, she earned a
Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science in 2008, and
subsequently, a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2013.
During her veterinary education, Dr. Lindahl was involved in
several organizations, which included serving as co-coordinator
for the MSU Pet Loss Support Hotline. She participated in the
Miracle of Life Exhibit at the Upper Peninsula State Fair, and also
assisted in the research of laminitis and insulin resistance in
horses.
Dr. Lindahl and her husband have two young children who keep
them very busy, and a young mixed-breed dog, Axel, who is a
good running buddy! She enjoys running and exercising at the
local gym, birding, and escaping with her family to their cabin in
the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Dr. Lindahl is excited to meet
you and your animals at your next veterinary visit!
